Sintered Neodymium Magnets

Sintered Neodymium magnets come in blocks, rings and in discs. These magnets are made by sintering NdFeB alloy, the sintering process allows the maximum amount of energy per unit to be stored permanently making a very string magnet which is very hard to demagnetise. The sintering process is the practice of heating materials to make a solid; this process can be carried out on all metals and ceramics. Due to the iron content in sintered Neodymium it will readily rust under normal conditions, therefore it is offered with protective plating. Also, these magnets are quite brittle but have a strong power level so when using them you will have to be very careful so as not to do any damage. The typical maximum operating temperature in non dynamic applications is one hundred and twenty degrees Celsius with higher temperature grades are available up on request.

You can purchase sintered magnets here on the Magnet UK website, there are listings of set prices and items but if you need something bespoke just give us a call and let us know what you need. We undertake bespoke work all the time and so can accommodate any order large or small.
